📋 Description

• Build sophisticated event-driven microservices powering M-KOPA Mobility's e-mobility financing platform • Own solutions end-to-end, from architecture decisions through production monitoring • Develop C#/.NET backend systems for clean, affordable transport • Work with Azure cloud infrastructure and messaging technologies • Implement and maintain Kubernetes and Docker-based infrastructure • Apply observability and monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana • Perform automated testing across all environments, including production • Support infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery • Collaborate with engineering teams across the UK, Europe, and Africa • Contribute to financial and digital inclusion through technology

🎯 Requirements

• Strong grasp of C# .NET development • Experience with event-driven systems, including Service Bus or similar messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • Microservices architecture experience • Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana • Testing and deployment expertise • DevOps culture mindset • Experience working with AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code or similar • Comfortable owning the entire software stack, including supporting infrastructure, across the full software lifecycle • Willingness to work within continuous delivery, testing, observability, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices • Successful candidates must undergo pre-employment background checks
