📋 Description

• Manage and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases for performance, security, and availability • Design and maintain database schemas, indexes, and partitions for scalability and efficiency • Perform database monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning • Implement access control, encryption, auditing, and other security best practices • Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize query performance • Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and industry standards • Participate in daily standups and prioritize tasks aligned with business needs • Translate business requirements into actionable data engineering tasks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Power BI and data solutions with business objectives • Mentor team members and drive best practices in data management and reporting • Evaluate and apply AI and automation to improve delivery speed, quality, testing, reliability, and operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL database administration expertise, including performance tuning, security, and backup/recovery • Excellent communication and leadership skills for working with technical and non-technical teams • Ability to prioritize and manage a team’s workload while driving business objectives • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail • Strong hands-on experience with modern AI models and developer tooling to improve software delivery speed and quality • Ability to use AI for SQL performance tuning, database reliability validation, migration planning, and operational runbook automation • Experience applying AI to testing workflows, including test scenario generation, regression coverage expansion, and edge-case identification • Proven ability to create practical automation while maintaining quality, security, and auditability • Comfortable evaluating AI output quality, selecting suitable models/tools, and using secure patterns for sensitive data • Track record of measurable efficiency gains • Willingness to work US EST hours • Resume must be submitted in English
