📋 Description

• You will be a part of our Design and Engineering team, working closely with our external sales teams, becoming the ‘go-to’ for technical design advice. • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Specification, Key Contractor Management, Account Management and the wider Sales team to provide technical solutions that help customers achieve their commercial project goals. • Meet with our wide range of customers and internal stakeholders to provide design advice. • Develop engineering-led pavement solutions for a wide variety of commercial developments, supporting projects from concept through to construction. • Influence material selection, pavement design, installation methodology and long-term performance. • Create technical proposals, build and deliver engineering-focused CPD presentations and provide support to the resolution of on-site issues. • Support the development of new products, systems and design methodology and share your knowledge and best practice.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or be working towards an appropriate professional qualification. • Experience in pavement, highways, public realm or hard landscaping design. • Good knowledge of pavement engineering principles including modular pavements, permeable paving and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). • An understanding of relevant industry standards such as DMRB, Specification for Highway Works, BS 7533 and CIRIA SuDS guidance. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to deliver technical CPD seminars. • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. • Commercial awareness and the ability to develop practical engineering solutions that add value for customers. • A full UK driving licence.
