📋 Description

• Produce accurate, detailed, and high-quality engineering reports • Assess, value, and negotiate vehicle repair costs • Provide fair and accurate vehicle valuations • Negotiate total loss settlements • Apply detailed knowledge of salvage categories • Manage claims through to resolution • Liaise with repairers, customers, and internal teams • Support colleagues and contribute to team success

🎯 Requirements

• **Essential:** • Qualified to **IAEA or ATA (VDA)** standard • Experience within insurer or independent engineering environment • Strong understanding of **claims processes and salvage categorisation** • Experience using estimating systems (e.g. **Audatex, GT Motive, Glass’s**) • Ability to inspect a wide range of vehicles including: • - Cars • - HGVs • - Agricultural machinery • - Caravans • **Desirable:** • AQP qualification • **Personal Attributes** • Detail-oriented and structured approach • Confident decision maker and negotiator • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Strong customer focus with complaint resolution experience • Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information
