📋 Description

• Maintenance of both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers • Booking approved purchase invoices and reconciling production costs back to Salesforce/P&L • Issuing of sales invoices on a weekly basis • Cash flow management and credit control • Assistance with commission calculations for sales team • Calculate Managing Director’s quarterly commission and send to Board for approval • Monthly bank reconciliation and revenue reconciliation • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register • Maintenance and reconciliation of Balance Sheet on a monthly basis • Month-End and analysis: ensure all journals for the reporting period are booked in the accounting system. Complete reporting packs for Board approval and investigate any differences • Inter-company reconciliation and reporting • Monthly payroll processing and payment • Pension: onboard new employees to the company’s pension scheme and upload monthly files for payment • Filing, submission and payment of relevant taxes (PAYE, VAT, P11D & corporation tax) • Lead the annual external audit and assist auditors with any queries in a timely manner • Assist Managing Director with the maintenance of the P&L and support with any ad-hoc tasks

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years’ of experience in accounting & finance • Solid understanding of accounting principles • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines • Able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems • Strong attention to detail and investigative nature • Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders • Excellent communication skills • Proficient in MS Office applications • Experience using Salesforce is desirable • Experience working in a similar industry desirable
