• Engage new prospects through a mix of inbound leads and targeted outbound outreach • Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities that align with MeridianLink’s solutions • Partner closely with Account Executives to move qualified opportunities forward • Ask thoughtful questions to understand a prospect’s business challenges, priorities, and buying stage • Educate prospects by sharing relevant insights, resources, and product capabilities • Maintain accurate activity and opportunity tracking in CRM tools • Stay informed on market trends, competitive offerings, and the financial services landscape
• 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role • Strong communication skills, you’re comfortable talking with senior-level stakeholders • Curiosity and coachability; you want feedback and use it to get better • Ability to balance activity with thoughtful, personalized outreach to uncover real business needs • Skilled in handling rejection and navigating objections • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
