📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt, and AWS • Own end-to-end data engineering projects from ingestion through analytics enablement • Develop and optimise reliable SQL-based data models • Build a stronger staging and testing environment for data changes before production • Improve monitoring, alerting, and data quality across key pipelines • Contribute to CDC and lower-latency data movement initiatives • Work closely with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and business stakeholders • Participate in code reviews and raise engineering standards across the team • Pair with other engineers and support more junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Strong data engineering experience at senior individual contributor level • Strong software engineering foundations and production-grade engineering habits • Highly capable with Python and SQL in real data engineering environments • Experience with modern data tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Airflow, AWS, or similar • Understanding of data modelling principles • Experience with testing, monitoring, alerting, and data quality • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment with high ownership and ambiguity • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Must be based in the UK • Full right to work in the UK • Must not require sponsorship to work in the UK
