📋 Description

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of communication projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. • Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, and coordinate internal and external resources effectively. • Monitor project financials including budgets, WIP, invoice, and profitability; proactively identify and escalate risks or issues. • Ensure quality control of all deliverables, including communication collateral, maintaining professional standards and client expectations. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines. • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for project delivery. • Understand client needs and objectives, providing strategic advice and solutions to enhance communication effectiveness. • Collaborate with senior consultants and other Mercer Lines of Business to identify opportunities for expanded services and cross-selling. • Support business development activities including proposal preparation, pitches, and client presentations. • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing client accounts. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines and project tracking tools. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional growth. • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. • Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to the development of best practices within the Impact team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Project Management, Business, or related field preferred. • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in project management within professional services, ideally supporting communication projects or related fields. • Strong understanding of pensions communications is highly desirable, with the ability to apply this knowledge to client projects. • Proven project management skills including planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource coordination. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels. • Financial acumen to manage project profitability and commercial considerations. • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office suite. • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
