📋 Description

• Drive scientific exchange and research support with external scientific leaders and investigators in Pulmonary Hypertension • Provide balanced, factual scientific information about non-product areas, company products, and company data • Facilitate and develop peer-level relationships with national, regional, and clinical practice scientific leaders and investigators • Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a reliable Medical Affairs contact presence • Engage in proactive non-product discussions on disease states, diagnosis, epidemiology, unmet medical needs, and population health • Facilitate scientific information exchange and translate scientific knowledge into actionable insights • Communicate stakeholder opinions, insights, and feedback on data, clinical trends, and the medical landscape to Medical Affairs headquarters teams • Represent Research & Development at scientific meetings and congresses and contribute to debriefs and post-congress reports • Support company-sponsored trials and Investigator Study Programs as the primary liaison to investigators • Identify potential investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs and support sponsored trials • Provide in-depth scientific support to Health Systems Teams • Maintain in-depth disease and therapeutic-area knowledge through conferences, workshops, and journal review • Comply with company policies, laws, regulations, ethical standards, field SOPs, GCP guidelines, and operational responsibilities • Work independently and as a team member with integrity, precision, accomplishment, ambition, respect, and inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• Reside within Arizona, Nevada, Utah, or New Mexico, within the defined Southwest US territory • Credentialed MD, PhD, PharmD, or relevant APP required • Three years in the biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment • Three years of clinical and/or research experience beyond the terminal degree program in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary therapeutic areas, with demonstrated scientific excellence, or five years of Medical Scientific Liaison experience in relevant therapeutic areas • Principled interpersonal, communication, networking, and presentation skills • Deep therapeutic competency and current knowledge of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary/translational science trends • Ability to network and partner with scientific leaders, investigators, clinical practice leaders, academic institutions, and treatment guideline members • Recognition for scientific excellence in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary therapeutic areas preferred • Clinical therapeutic-area practice and independent research/publication experience highly desirable • Five years of prior pharmaceutical industry experience preferred • Prior experience within the geography and established therapeutic-area stakeholder relationships preferred • Demonstrable effective leadership skills preferred • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred • Ability to consolidate and understand complex data sets, execute data analyses, and interpret results • Knowledge of national and society treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, OIG, HIPAA, and applicable ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment • Valid driving license required • Willingness to travel 50% • No visa sponsorship
