• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Provider Contracting Department • Supervise, coach, and manage a small team of Contracting Specialists • Evaluate non-standard terms, proposed revisions, business priorities, and contractual risks • Serve as the primary resource and first point of escalation for complex or non-standard contracting matters • Draft, review, revise, and support negotiations of complex or material contract terms • Maintain accurate clinical provider information in CONGA • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, leadership, and other stakeholders to resolve contractual issues • Draft contracts, amendments, and letter agreements for clinical new hires, existing employees, and independent contractors • Track departmental workload, contract status, performance trends, and relevant metrics • Develop and maintain standard contract language, templates, playbooks, procedures, documentation standards, guidance materials, and escalation protocols • Represent the Contracting Department in cross-functional meetings and initiatives • Monitor workflows, recurring issues, and resource constraints; implement process improvements • Identify and escalate matters presenting legal, financial, compliance, operational, or business risk • Establish team priorities, assign and balance workloads, and monitor deadlines, deliverables, and resource capacity
• Bachelor's Degree required • Paralegal Certification • Significant relevant experience in contract administration, contract management, paralegal work, legal operations, or a related contracting function • Demonstrated experience independently drafting, reviewing, and revising contractual language • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex or non-standard contractual issues and determine when escalation is appropriate • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong judgment, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to oversee multiple matters, competing priorities, and deadlines • Ability to develop effective working relationships with leadership and stakeholders across multiple organizational functions • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately • High level of proficiency with CONGA and MS Office products, including Word, Excel and SharePoint • Experience with WORKDAY a plus • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment, with a high focus on accuracy • Previous experience with preparation of contracts is preferred • Previous management experience preferred
