📋 Description

• Implement clinical trial activities according to study protocols • Work with investigative site personnel, CROs, and study vendors • Manage and coach clinical research staff • Manage study contracting, budgets, and vendor payment processes • Develop department procedures and infrastructure with the department head • Design study documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, CRFs, and regulatory binders • Train CROs, vendors, investigators, and study coordinators on study protocols and relevant requirements • Monitor and track clinical trial progress and provide stakeholder status updates • Partner with research and development groups to achieve deliverables • Handle PHI in paper and electronic form using relevant technologies • Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days • Maintain current Natera training requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, another relevant discipline, or equivalent required • 5–10 years of clinical research experience, including 3–5 years managing clinical trials in a leading role • 2+ years of experience managing staff • Experience independently managing study design, protocol implementation, site monitoring, sample management, and recruitment site management • Familiarity with clinical research regulations • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to collaborate with study teams, cross-functional teams, and external partners • Strong organization and planning skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong leadership skills; self-motivated and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Advanced degree preferred • Experience managing CROs preferred
