📋 Description

• Explain business performance and recommend management actions through data analytics in a client-facing role • Develop processes enabling distribution and understanding of insights across the wider bank • Use insights to drive effective business decision-making • Build and deliver franchise analytics and insights using financial and business performance data, including balance sheet and P&L • Develop and maintain statistical profitability models and associated analytics • Provide actionable management information on model performance • Provide insight through analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders • Identify opportunities to improve business strategy through product, proposition, target operating model, and pricing levers • Improve analytical outputs, team approaches, and processes • Work with managers to maximise team performance and effectiveness • Share technical expertise to improve team capability

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified to degree level in a numerate discipline • Extensive banking or financial services experience • Data-driven analysis and consulting skills • Experience in analytical and data science, including SQL, Python, and Tableau or an equivalent • Understanding of stakeholder products, propositions, customers, customer journeys, markets, and competitors • Broad experience of risk and finance systems, methodologies, and processes in a retail or wholesale banking environment • Understanding of the regulatory regime and risk management and control processes applicable to businesses within the financial services industry • Consultancy skills; a consultancy background is not essential
