📋 Description

• Lead cross-portfolio strategy, ensuring clear investment priorities, lifecycle balance, and alignment with Food Safety growth objectives • Identify synergies, overlaps, and gaps across portfolios, developing business cases and recommendations for acceleration, rationalisation or reinvestment • Translate enterprise strategy into portfolio roadmaps, resource requirements, revenue assumptions, budget recommendations and prioritised investment plans • Oversee aggregate portfolio performance, including P&L outcomes, pricing discipline, margin improvement, launch performance and risk management • Coach and support Portfolio Managers, strengthening strategic thinking, accountability, lifecycle management and execution standards • Partner with regional teams, Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance and Scientific Affairs to align innovation pipelines with market needs and business value

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in portfolio management, product management, commercial strategy or a related senior business role, ideally within food safety, life sciences, diagnostics, manufacturing or a technical B2B environment • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with P&L ownership, revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, margin improvement and portfolio performance metrics • Demonstrated ability to lead portfolio planning, governance processes, business case development and lifecycle management across multiple product lines • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams in a global or matrixed organisation • Strong analytical, strategic and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex market, financial and operational information into clear recommendations • Experience coaching or leading product or portfolio management professionals, with a focus on performance, consistency and continuous improvement • Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom or be able to obtain it in accordance with applicable immigration requirements
