📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS agreements, including data processing addenda and security terms, supporting EMEA go-to-market efforts • Coach and advise regional sales teams on SaaS deal structure, negotiation tactics, and customer dispute resolution • Structure, negotiate, and expand channel partnerships with resellers, MSPs, distributors, and global system integrators • Collaborate with Privacy Legal on risk-tolerance strategies and commercial contract responses under global privacy regimes such as GDPR and DORA • Own and modernise SaaS agreement templates, negotiation playbooks, and contract escalation workflows • Provide pragmatic, risk-aware legal guidance to Marketing, Product, Finance, Contract Managers, and other cross-functional partners • Align legal strategy with the company’s consumption-based model, monetisation, and product-led growth goals

🎯 Requirements

• Based in the UK • Substantial experience drafting and negotiating complex SaaS commercial contracts, partner frameworks, and cloud technology agreements • Solid knowledge of revenue recognition principles • Qualified to practice law and in good standing with the relevant professional regulatory body, such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority or equivalent • Hands-on knowledge of data privacy, artificial intelligence, security topics, and global compliance frameworks within commercial SaaS transactions • Experience working directly alongside enterprise sales teams across the EMEA region • Ability to manage competing deliverables, set boundaries, prioritise under deadlines, and operate independently • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across functions, regions, and executive levels • Identity and employment eligibility verification required • Criminal background check required • May be required to pass an export compliance assessment • In-house legal experience (bonus) • Familiarity with consumption-based SaaS (bonus) • Experience handling GSI/reseller partner agreements and advising marketing teams (bonus) • Understanding of AI products, LLMs, and product lifecycle (bonus) • Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E or familiarity with the EU AI Act and DORA (bonus)
