📋 Description

• Manage internal and customer server infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including VMs, Network Security Groups, ExpressRoute and Application Gateways/WAF • Design, configure and troubleshoot network connectivity between customers, third parties and the platform, including site-to-site VPNs, routing, NAT/PAT and DNS • Administer internal and customer-facing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls • Build and maintain connectivity to external trading, settlement and market data services • Administer and maintain Active Directory, including trusts, Kerberos delegation, certificate services and certificate lifecycle management • Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server, including patching, monitoring, administration, high availability and disaster recovery configurations • Test and maintain backups and disaster recovery processes, including invocation testing, to meet contracted RPO/RTO obligations • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment and associated tools • Maintain external-facing infrastructure such as web servers, reverse proxies, DNS and public certificates • Perform routine patching and maintenance of servers and firewalls • Maintain software and associated components on Third Platform Services • Respond to IT audit and customer due-diligence information requests and provide supporting evidence • Work with group information security to align infrastructure with security policies, control frameworks and audit requirements, and support remediation of risks and vulnerabilities • Manage third-party vendor and supplier relationships, including technical liaison, escalations and coordinating changes • Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledgebase articles • Monitor and respond to infrastructure and monitoring-platform alerts • Work on infrastructure and security IT projects as required • Contribute to team planning

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar technical role involving infrastructure and cloud technology • Experience in an environment providing and supporting B2B customer-facing technology • Experience working within a regulated or externally audited industry • Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2 / ISAE 3402 / AAF, CIS benchmarks/controls, or equivalent NIST frameworks • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Windows Server administration • Strong networking and firewalling skills, including NAT/PAT, site-to-site IPsec VPN, routing and DNS • Advanced Active Directory administration, including trusts, Kerberos delegation and certificate management • In-depth Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD knowledge, including Enterprise applications, SSO, Conditional Access and hybrid identity • Microsoft SQL Server administration, including backup/restore and recovery, security/permissions and SQL Agent job management • Knowledge of Windows-based IIS application administration • PowerShell scripting • Office 365 administration and automation • Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools and processes • Strong documentation skills • Experience managing third-party vendors and suppliers • Desirable: Microsoft Dynamics CRM administration • Desirable: ADFS administration • Desirable: SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery design, such as Always On availability groups, clustering and log shipping • Desirable: Microsoft BizTalk Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server administration • Desirable: Fortinet/FortiGate firewall administration • Desirable: PRTG, Grafana or similar monitoring platforms • Desirable: Atlassian Jira and Confluence • Industry-specific experience with payment/settlement gateways, trading interfaces, CASS or similar financial-market infrastructure • Wealth management or stockbroking domain knowledge • Understanding of infrastructure automation such as Terraform • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, customers and vendors • Ability to perform out-of-hours work for routine maintenance and occasional project work
