📋 Description

• Serve as Lead Account Executive, Enterprise owning a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts and opportunities • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans and strategic “land” opportunities to drive broad adoption across enterprises • Own full sales cycle for complex deals: prospecting, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and close • Drive disciplined opportunity management: qualify, forecast, and close large contracts while maintaining a robust pipeline • Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders including VP and C-suite executives • Craft consultative, value-driven solutions that demonstrate clear ROI and align Nylas’s developer platform to customer objectives • Orchestrate cross-functional teams (Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing) to deliver proofs-of-concept and successful onboarding • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and enterprise developer needs; advocate customer feedback to influence product roadmap • Act as an internal leader and mentor for enterprise sales best practices and junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with several years selling into large enterprise accounts (Fortune 1000 or equivalent) • Proven track record of closing new business and expanding existing enterprise accounts • History of overachievement against annual quotas on the order of $1M+ ARR, including winning seven-figure deals and managing multi-year contracts • Extensive experience managing long, complex sales cycles (often 6-12+ months) with multiple stakeholders • Skilled at navigating enterprise procurement, legal, and security review processes • Adept at “land and expand” strategies • Strong strategic account planning and consultative selling abilities • Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally (sales engineers, product, customer success) • Familiarity with modern cloud software and APIs; comfortable engaging with technical audiences (developers, CTOs) • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including executive-level engagement with VP/C-suite • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, resilience, and a growth mindset • Must be located in or able to work from a state/province where Nylas is registered; visa sponsorship may not be available in certain remote locations
