📋 Description

• We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the early stages of a project, who’s passionate about code, curious, and eager to learn. • You’ll be one of the founding members of a new backend team that builds products for our Generation areas. • Your initial mission will be on a greenfield project in the renewable generation & financial space - suitable for someone who enjoys getting stuck in from the very beginning, being part of structural thinking and developing from the ground up. • You’ll have the chance to make a huge impact and influence how the backend grows to meet new challenges, whilst working alongside talented engineers and supported by an experienced commercial & project team. Overall, it’s an exciting opportunity to work like a start-up within a global scaling EnTech business.

🎯 Requirements

• The passion to create something functional, scalable and loved by customers - with the mindset to learn and grow with the company • Experience in the creation of the web service backend for a mobile or web app using Python/Django • A strong understanding of the Python ecosystem with 2+ years of experience • An ability to discuss vision and features within a team and propose creative solutions • An ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software • Knowledge of (or a desire to learn) GraphQL APIs is a plus • Experience of developing software in a regulated industry is a plus (e.g. banking, insurance, healthcare, investments) • Proficient understanding of Git • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment
