📋 Description

• Collaborate internationally: Work closely with Octopus Energy ES and various global teams to develop and integrate new features for our website and mobile app. • Own key product modules: Contribute directly to the private area, bill management, saving sessions, customer onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards. • Drive fast-paced impact: Deliver code that directly impacts customers. Our priorities adapt to real-world needs, meaning the pace is fast and the feedback cycle is satisfyingly quick. • Thrive in an agile culture: Enjoy flat hierarchies and an open environment that fosters innovation, flexibility, and creativity.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent spoken English is absolutely essential 🇬🇧. The team is international, so English will be the language you use on a daily basis. • Strong professional experience building backend applications with **Python**. • Solid experience with **Django** (or equivalent robust web frameworks). • Deep understanding of **Domain Modelling** and software architecture. • Strong expertise designing and integrating **GraphQL & REST APIs**. • Proven experience writing **robust, fault-tolerant, and scalable software**. • Experience with **Celery** and asynchronous task processing. • Solid handling of relational databases, especially **PostgreSQL**. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex issues from concept to production.
