📋 Description

• Visit customers in their homes and complete surveys assessing suitability for Solar PV, heat pumps, loft and cavity wall insulation, or Energy Performance Certificates • Capture measurements and other data to complete heat loss calculations and produce quotes • Ensure accurate information is captured for low-carbon heating system design and installation • Explain the survey process to customers and advocate for the technology • Communicate exceptionally with customers during each visit and motivate home upgrades • Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment • Work in Bristol and surrounding areas • Learn about smart meters, heat pumps, solar PV and renewable technologies at Octopus Energy’s training and R&D centre • Deliver a high-quality customer experience as part of Octopus Energy’s field force

🎯 Requirements

• Experience communicating effectively with customers, ideally in a face to face domestic environment • Previous experience within MCS accredited organisation or assessing properties for energy efficiency or insulation measures is desirable • Domestic Energy Assessor/Retro Fit Assessor qualification is highly desirable but not essential • Experience talking to customers about work in their homes, ideally with a background in measuring and sizing equipment • Experience with heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage and electrical equipment is desirable • Some mechanical or electrical experience is preferred but not essential • Ability to learn quickly • Good IT and tech skills • Full clean driving licence with no more than 6 points • Ability to work in Bristol and surrounding areas
