📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end invoice and salary payment cycle, including validation, approval routing, FX and release across banks and EMIs, beneficiary verification, dual authorisation, returns and stuck payments • Redesign payment processes with Finance leadership, including higher payment frequency, invoice checks with accounting, backup approvers and the four-eyes principle • Collect balances across banks, acquirers, PSPs, exchanges and custody accounts • Produce signed-off cash flow reports with analytics on changes in cash and crypto positions • Perform daily safeguarding reconciliation for e-money entities once operational • Manage client-asset segregation and reconciliation under MiCA and PSD2 • Prepare records for audit and regulatory review • Handle recurring returns for licensed entities and treasury evidence packs for audit and regulator requests • Perform short-term forecasting, pre-funding of settlement and trading accounts, sweeps, and stablecoin and hot/cold float management • Maintain treasury policies, authority matrices and SOPs • Move reporting and reconciliation off spreadsheets with Finance Systems and Engineering • Report to the Head of Treasury

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years in treasury or payment operations, ideally at a crypto or fintech company • Hands-on payment execution in a company role, including approval workflows, banking portals, payment file formats and segregation of duties • Real crypto operations experience, including exchange and custody accounts, stablecoin settlement, hot/cold wallet operations, on-chain verification, and network specifics such as fees, finality, memo/tag and stuck transactions • Ownership of regular balance reporting and reconciliation in a multi-currency, multi-account environment, including resolving breaks • Experience in a regulated environment, including regulatory reporting, safeguarding or client-money rules, and audit or regulator requests • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills • Exceptional attention to detail, precision under cut-off pressure and full discretion with sensitive financial information • Fluent English • Based in a time zone close to CET/EET • Hands-on PSD2 or EMI safeguarding reconciliation, including UK safeguarding (nice to have) • MiCA/CASP crypto-asset segregation and reporting (nice to have) • Experience redesigning a payment or approval process together with accounting (nice to have) • Building cash flow reports and dashboards; SQL beyond the basics (nice to have) • Fireblocks or a similar custody/MPC platform (nice to have) • A treasury certification such as ACT or CTP (nice to have)
