📋 Description

• Lead financial planning, risk management, and accounting practices in alignment with strategic goals • Develop and implement financial strategies supporting growth, innovation, and financial health • Guide the executive team in financial decision-making through insights and analysis • Support fundraising activities and foster relationships with investors, banks, and other financial partners • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain financial records in the UK and US • Bring the company to its next stage of financial maturity • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of fundraising in tech start/scale ups • Experience with VC investors • Extensive experience working in businesses that straddle the Atlantic • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial role in a fast-paced, dynamic high growth B2B/enterprise SaaS environment • Experience in high-growth environments, preferably in tech or healthcare sectors • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable business strategies • Ability to set strategy and execute it independently • Commercially savvy and deeply pragmatic • Adept at working with in-house resources and third-party finance functions • Relevant financial qualification, e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA • Strong understanding of financial regulations, corporate financial law, and risk management practices • Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting • Live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with proven ability to manage complex financial operations • Extra points for experience in the technology or healthcare sectors
