📋 Description

• Own Pairs' brand positioning, voice, visual identity, and consistency across the site, feed, and newsroom • Set brand strategy and execute it • Write and publish weekly founder and company posts on LinkedIn and X • Produce weekly and monthly newsletters and a quarterly report • Run founder and investor story shoots from guest booking and preparation through shoot day and final edit • Cut video personally • Plan and measure sponsorships and retargeting against inbound • Brief, edit, and develop VC Content Interns into full-time hires • Structure content for citation by AI answer engines and journalists • Track share of voice and maintain SEO fundamentals • Report to and strategize with the co-founders • Build and run the Pairs brand with creative ownership

🎯 Requirements

• Have built and run a brand end to end, including setting voice, making content, running channels, and knowing before-and-after numbers • Continue writing posts, cutting video, and directing shoots personally • Experience managing makers, freelancers, interns, or a small team, and growing at least one person into a bigger job • High-standard writing in a restrained register, with published work longer than a caption • Experience running paid campaigns, including sponsorships and retargeting, or owning the brief and results • Understanding of how AI answer engines and journalists choose what to cite • Experience shipping content with AI-answer-engine and journalist citation in mind • SEO fundamentals • Ability to analyze successful and unsuccessful content and explain changes made • Bonus: founder/VC audience, personal following among founders or investors, podcast or newsletter production, and on-camera comfort
