📋 Description

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure, architecture, and pipelines for medical analytics • Feed medical data sources into data lakes for ongoing projects • Partner with product managers and data leads to develop technical architectures for analytical models • Identify data inputs needed for analytics, including claims data for unmet-need analysis • Gather, prepare, and maintain datasets required for analytics • Oversee data systems in collaboration with the data management lead • Ensure accurate collection, storage, and processing of data • Enhance infrastructure scalability and optimize data delivery by automating manual processes • Solve complex data problems to deliver insights and support required analytics • Create data products that improve data scientist productivity and team collaboration • Advise, consult, mentor, and coach data and analytics colleagues on standards and practices • Foster reuse, scalable design, stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions • Lead evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and analytic data engineering processes • Travel as required, up to 40% of the role

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, or a similar field • Relevant certification and/or work experience in data engineering • BA/BS degree with 6+ years of data engineering experience, notably in healthcare, or 5+ years of experience with an MBA/MS • Experience working effectively in a cross-functional business environment • Proven influencing skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with Pfizer leaders and external stakeholders • Ability to partner cross-culturally and cross-regionally • Effective English verbal and written communication • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP and data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules/guidance, legal and compliance, issue management, and business development evaluations • Infrastructure as code, data warehousing, Apache Airflow, Kafka, or similar streaming data engineering tools • Databricks and DSS Data Science Studio (Dataiku) experience • Understanding of taxonomy structures and hierarchy • Experience with tag management solutions such as Tealium iQ, GTM, Adobe Launch, Dynamic Tag Manager, or Ensighten • Ability to use tag managers and write JavaScript code • Marketing performance analysis using marketing and click-stream APIs, data aggregation, data cleaning, and transformation • Understanding of digital analytics, clickstream data, Adobe and/or Google Analytics, and Drupal platforms • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics/Omniture SiteCatalyst, Matomo/Piwik, Tealium IQ, Adobe Launch/DTM, Google Tag Manager, Piwik Pro, Signal/Bright Tag, and tag debugging tools such as Charles Proxy • Programming languages: JavaScript, jQuery • At least 1 year in a client-facing role for solutioning and/or evangelizing technology approaches • Markup languages: HTML, CSS • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States is required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
