• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate build, test, and deployment processes • Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to automate infrastructure provisioning and maintain version-controlled configurations • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premises servers; optimize resource usage and cost • Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems; analyze logs to troubleshoot and resolve incidents • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) and enforce cloud security best practices • Write scripts to automate repetitive tasks and develop custom automation solutions • Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans and regularly test recovery procedures • Architect, build, and maintain scalable, resilient AWS cloud environments and design secure network architectures • Use configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and container tooling (Docker, EKS, Helm) • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation; evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies • Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to drive adoption of automation and DevOps practices
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or technical discipline • 5 years relevant experience (Degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience) • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Expert communication and client management skills • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations • Experience working in and with cross-functional teams • Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results • U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance • Experience with AWS Cloud Platform • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS) • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, Prometheus) • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo) • Scripting/programming skills (Bash/Shell, Ruby, Python, PowerShell) • Experience with networking, Vault, Nginx, encryption, and security practices • Familiarity with Helm, Istio, Jaeger, Kiali, ACK, Backstage.io • Experience with incident management, alerting, and log analysis
