📋 Description

• Own the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process across group entities • Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and local statutory requirements • Assist in maintaining financial controls and general ledger activities • Support annual audits and statutory reporting requirements • Monitor cash flow and maintain the cash forecast • Prepare VAT returns and support multi-jurisdiction tax compliance with external advisors • Oversee Accounts Payable, expenses and corporate card processes • Ensure adherence to purchasing policies and approval workflows • Help identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities • Work closely with operational stakeholders across the business • Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities • Assist with performance and profitability analysis • Support finance transformation initiatives • Maintain finance policies and procedures • Support automation and reporting enhancement projects • Report to the Finance Director and work across 5 entities in 4 countries

🎯 Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified/part-qualified or equivalent experience • 5 years of accounting and finance experience • Strong understanding of management reporting, financial controls and audit processes • Experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar • Experience in management reporting and month-end close processes • Advanced Excel skills • Experience with cloud accounting systems • Desired: Experience within a technology-enabled, marketplace, subscription or multi-site business • Desired: Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment • Desired: Exposure to UK, US or European entities • Desired: Experience supporting systems implementations and process improvements • Desired: Familiarity with VAT and multi-jurisdiction finance operations • Desired: Experience with Xero, Pleo, Airwallex and Zahara
