📋 Description

• Maintain accurate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments • Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines • Reconcile bank accounts and company ledgers regularly • Manage accounts payable and receivable • Assist Operations Manager with month-end and year-end financial reporting • Support audits and tenders by providing required documentation and information

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar finance role • Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and experience preparing VAT returns • Familiarity with accounting software (Xero) • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Strong organisational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently • Good understanding of basic accounting principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • AAT qualification or equivalent (support considered if this is something you would like to work towards) • Experience preparing management accounts • Experience working in a remote environment.
