📋 Description

• Take financial responsibility for a portfolio of services across the South West and Wales region • Partner with the Managing Director, Hospital Directors and Service Managers to drive financial performance • Provide commercial insight and support effective decision-making • Produce month-end reports, analyse variances and identify risks and opportunities • Manage budgets and forecasts, monitor performance and recommend corrective action • Support tenders, pricing, fee uplifts and contract renewals • Evaluate business cases and new opportunities to drive commercial growth • Maintain strong financial controls and investigate financial discrepancies • Attend monthly business reviews with the Managing Director and recommend actions to improve performance • Build financial awareness across services through guidance and training for non-finance colleagues • Contribute to wider Group projects and operational improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Commercial Manager, Management Accountant or in a similar finance role • Strong understanding of financial management and commercial performance • Ability to work autonomously and balance competing priorities • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to identify opportunities to improve financial and commercial performance • Ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders • Ability to influence decisions and drive improvements • Ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable recommendations • Ability to improve financial awareness and support better decision-making across services • Full UK driving licence is essential • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across South West England and Wales and to other Priory locations, including overnight stays
