📋 Description

• Develop robust, scalable financial models for annual planning, contract negotiations, and strategic decision-making • Translate unstructured inputs and complex, multivariable scenarios into commercial models • Interrogate data sources, validate accuracy, and challenge assumptions • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to improve data quality, structures, and modelling processes • Produce scenario models, sensitivity analyses, and risk assessments • Lead financial analysis of new partnerships, service redesigns, and growth initiatives • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts covering income, activity, costs, and contribution • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities and recommend mitigation or action • Support negotiations with NHS commissioners and system partners through financial analysis and recommendations • Prepare financial models, assumptions, and analysis for contract proposals and business cases • Inform pricing strategies, commercial models, and partnership structures • Assess financial implications of contract terms • Analyze NHS commissioning, provider markets, system priorities, policy, regulatory, and market developments • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Operations, and Contract Management teams • Communicate complex financial information to financial and non-financial stakeholders • Support business performance, sustainable growth, margin, and commissioner satisfaction • Maintain governance, accuracy, financial control, and transparent documentation of models and recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience and expertise in commercial and financial modelling within a commercial, growth-oriented environment • Experience interrogating data sources, validating data quality, and challenging assumptions • Ability to turn unstructured inputs and multivariate scenarios into commercial models for complex decisions • Experience working with data analytics teams to improve datasets, processes, and modelling • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex financial models from first principles • Strong analytical capability with complex data • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis • Excellent communication skills for financial and non-financial audiences • Demonstrated success in collaborative, cross-functional environments • Applicants must reside in the UK • Desirable: experience within NHS commissioning, contracting frameworks, and payment mechanisms • Desirable: experience supporting or participating in NHS contract negotiations • Desirable: exposure to provider-commissioner financial flows, activity forecasting, or service planning • Desirable: experience in a Private Equity environment • Desirable: understanding of health system performance frameworks and market dynamics
