📋 Description

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, data persistence, and frontend interfaces • Make design decisions collectively with the team • Work in small increments and integrate frequently • Keep the codebase in a releasable state • Design intuitive, versioned, consistent, evolvable APIs • Co-own data modelling, schema design, query patterns, and migration strategy • Write unit, integration, and API-level automated tests • Instrument software for observability • Improve existing code through continuous refactoring • Deploy and operate software as a team • Document design decisions, API contracts, and domain knowledge • Communicate blockers, tradeoffs, and progress proactively • Pair regularly with teammates and share effective patterns, tools, and AI workflows • Participate in team code reviews and provide and receive constructive feedback

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production delivery experience • Demonstrated ability to shape systems, not just implement features • Genuine full-stack capability across backend, APIs, data layer, and frontend • Strong API development experience, including design, implementation, versioning, and consumer-first thinking • Proficiency with relational and document databases • Automated testing discipline • Cloud deployment awareness • Active use of AI-assisted development tooling such as Copilot, Cursor, Kiro, or equivalent • Clear and effective written communication in English • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, or equivalent • Hands-on observability experience • Software design awareness, including SOLID principles • Experience with NoSQL or document stores such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch • Security awareness in design and implementation, including input validation, authentication patterns, and dependency hygiene • Experience in a remote-first or distributed engineering team • Familiarity with event-driven architecture or microservices patterns
