📋 Description

• Own the architecture of Reddit's iOS mobile app and scale it for the next 100M+ daily active users • Propose solutions to make Reddit's mobile apps best-in-class • Identify architecture gaps and lead iOS platform redesign for modularity, performance, and quality • Build agentic workflows to accelerate migrations across a multi-million-line code repository • Mentor iOS developers across the company • Serve as the go-to expert for complex iOS development problems • Set technical direction, technology selection, and best practices for iOS development • Act as the company-wide iOS application architect

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience • At least 5+ years designing/developing iOS applications • Deep experience building mobile applications at scale • Experience influencing organizations of 100+ engineers on iOS technical direction and best practices • Experience with modern iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI and structured concurrency • Experience working with cross-functional design, product, and data teams • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical expertise • Strategic thinking and passion for scalable, well-designed software
