📋 Description

• Support and improve internal SaaS tools and automations focused on scaling IT services and improving the employee experience. • Develop, test, and support integrations across platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, and other core business systems. • Collaborate with IT Engineering and partner teams to handle escalations, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement access controls. • Participate in system configuration and maintenance, access reviews, and role management. • Work with AI-powered tools (such as Workato Genies, Workato One, Google Gemini Enterprise) to help streamline IT support, processes and improve issue resolution through automation. • Work on automating identity and access processes using platforms like Workato or Saviynt. • Help document and support IT tools, systems, and operational workflows. • Recommend improvements to systems and processes based on team feedback and operational needs. • Contribute to a culture of reliability, knowledge sharing, and service excellence. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, engineering or related field or 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Okta and Google Workspaces providing the highest level of support and troubleshooting the most difficult issues for these applications. • Experience handling IT escalations and supporting internal tools. • Basic experience with Saviynt or similar access/identity management platforms. • Familiarity with low-code or no-code automation tools (e.g., Okta Workflows, Workato, or similar integration platforms). • Experience with Google Apps Manager (GAM) command line tool. • Ability to spearhead and drive work without supervision across functions and collaborate with all levels of users and management. • Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment, including the ability to manage time and maintain an excellent work ethic. • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
