📋 Description

• Monitor application and infrastructure health using Datadog to ensure performance, availability, and reliability • Conduct web application performance investigations and implement tuning measures to optimize Jira and Confluence responsiveness and throughput • Install, configure, and upgrade Jira and Confluence Data Center applications and related components • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for Atlassian Jira and Confluence Data Center deployments • Perform regular maintenance including backups, patching, and capacity planning to maintain system integrity • Plan and implement integrations of Jira and Confluence with internal and third-party applications, APIs, and systems • Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and DevOps to implement best practices for deployment, integration, and operations • Enforce security best practices, manage user access, and ensure compliance with IT policies • Document system architecture, integration points, operational procedures, and incident resolutions • Analyze performance metrics and recommend optimizations to improve scalability and efficiency • Stay updated on Atlassian product updates, integration tools, and monitoring tool enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in managing Site Reliability Engineering • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence Data Center environments • Strong expertise in infrastructure setup, clustering, load balancing, and high availability configurations • Experience integrating Jira and Confluence via APIs, webhooks, and plugins • Proficient with Linux and Windows server environments and virtualization platforms • Experience managing databases supporting Atlassian applications (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) • Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring application and server performance • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional IT teams • Ability to work 9 am to 5 pm Pacific Time • Contractor engagement (contract role)
