📋 Description

• Implement Sezzle’s NIST Privacy Framework from roadmap to operating program, including profiles, gap analysis, costed action plans, and monitoring • Own privacy risk assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments for products, features, and third-party vendors • Operate a privacy intake and disposition process for proposals • Build and maintain the enterprise data inventory and data map with Engineering • Manage automation and fulfillment of consumer access, deletion, and opt-out requests • Administer de-identification and aggregation standards and approval workflows • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to embed privacy-by-design • Run the cross-functional privacy working group • Maintain the decision log and obligations register, track metrics, and support executive and board-level reporting • Collaborate with Information Security on privacy incidents and cross-border data transfer risks

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of dedicated experience managing data privacy programs • Experience standing up a privacy program or major component from early stage to steady state • Hands-on experience implementing a recognized privacy or security framework • Experience with profiles or maturity assessments, gap analyses, and action plans • Strong working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA and the broader US state privacy law landscape • Knowledge of TCPA, GLBA, PIPEDA, and Quebec Law 25 • Fluency in de-identification, aggregation, and other privacy-enhancing techniques • Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, run a cross-functional working group, and present to executives • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment • Preferred: CIPM plus CIPP/US or CIPP/C; CIPT is a plus • Preferred: familiarity with OneTrust, Securiti.ai, WireWheel, and data infrastructure analytics • Preferred: experience with financial regulations and compliance frameworks such as GLBA and PCI-DSS • Preferred: public-company experience and audit committee or board-level reporting
