Sistema. bio is a company that designs, manufactures and deploys prefabricated modular biodigesters and associated biogas appliances to convert animal and organic waste into renewable biogas and organic biofertilizer. They provide installation, training, customer service and financing to small, medium and large farms across multiple countries, enabling clean cooking, thermal and mechanical/electrical uses of biogas while supporting regenerative agriculture and carbon mitigation.

📋 Description

• Running FarmCarbon fund operations, continuously improving standard operating procedures and reporting processes. • Managing FarmCarbon investor relations, including ensuring timely, complete and high quality reporting. • Supporting fundraising processes through initial structuring, due diligence, negotiations, documentation and close. • Owning the FarmCarbon financial model and ensuring it stands up to scrutiny by sophisticated investors. • Developing and maintaining financial planning and decision-support tools (project financial models, NPV calculator, risk assessments, etc.). • Supporting FarmCarbon commercial contracting including reviewing and structuring ERPAs to align with FarmCarbon requirements. • Leading the legal development and structuring of strategic partnerships, implementation agreements, and carbon offtake contracts for FarmCarbon. • Coordinating internal carbon team meetings to align on priorities and strategy and sharing key outcomes across the organisation to improve visibility and coordination.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance or a related field. • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA or equivalent are a strong advantage. • 5+ years of experience in project finance or corporate finance, with a specific focus on carbon or impact financing. • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and asset valuation techniques. • Demonstrated success in managing complex financing processes involving multiple stakeholders across international markets. • Strong understanding of voluntary and compliance carbon markets, carbon standards, and regulatory requirements. • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex finance and carbon market topics to diverse audiences. • Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus. • Ability to travel occasionally to regional offices and project sites.
