📋 Description

• Lead Slice’s DevEx Deploy & Run team • Partner with engineering leadership to identify developer friction and platform opportunities • Measure and improve deployment velocity, system reliability, platform adoption, and developer productivity • Guide architecture and technical strategy across the Internal Developer Platform, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure • Build reusable patterns, self-service tooling, automation, and operational guardrails • Give platform engineers context, decision boundaries, and meaningful ownership • Improve platform delivery frequency, workflow standardization, observability, and operational excellence • Hire, coach, and retain platform and software engineers • Partner with engineering teams to drive platform adoption through collaboration and documentation • Lead cross-functional efforts across teams in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing high-performing platform engineering teams • Skilled at project planning/tracking and creation of team roadmaps • Technical expertise across Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Python automation, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog • Proven track record of improving developer experience, deployment reliability, and engineering effectiveness • Platform mindset focused on reusable systems, self-service tooling, and scalable guardrails • Clear, direct communication across technical platform teams and product engineering stakeholders • Comfortable leading teams working with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, cloud-native architecture, ArgoCD, GitOps, Python, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, network architecture, DNS, Cloudflare, Datadog, Terraform, and generative AI tools including LLM APIs
