📋 Description

• Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair Volvo construction equipment and other machinery across HS2 project sites • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related faults using technical expertise and diagnostic tools • Act as the primary customer contact, providing machine-status updates, repair progress, and recommended actions • Complete job documentation, inspection reports, timesheets, and electronic records accurately and in real time • Maintain safety, professionalism, housekeeping, and compliance with company and site procedures • Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and maximise equipment uptime • Work independently and directly with customers across the southern section of the HS2 project

🎯 Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering, HGV Maintenance, or a related engineering discipline • Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction plant • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrics, and diagnostic systems • Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment • Strong communication and customer service skills • Full UK driving licence • Flexibility to travel, work overtime, and support customer requirements when needed • Applicants must have experience maintaining and repairing construction plant equipment
