📋 Description

• Develop and deliver asbestos training courses, including BOHS and UKATA courses • Carry out asbestos consultancy, gap analysis, and asbestos management plans • Promote a right-first-time culture within SOCOTEC and with stakeholders and clients • Provide in-house mentoring and training • Collaborate with business development, Regional Managers, Project Managers, and other SOCOTEC stakeholders • Manage client relationships within the region and beyond where required • Develop client relationships while providing a best-in-class service • Operate in a fast-paced consultancy environment while sustaining high technical standards • Monitor, manage, and report ongoing contract metrics • Ensure client information is set up electronically and regularly review its accuracy • Report business activity occurrences requiring insurer notification or legal advice to the Company Secretary and Divisional Operations Director • Maintain business relationships through business opportunities and effective client portfolio management • Provide quotes and specifications of works as appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos • Science degree qualification • 10 plus years’ experience in the asbestos industry • Experience of delivering BOHS asbestos courses • Experience of delivering UKATA asbestos courses • Experience of writing and delivering Asbestos Management Plans (AMP’s) • Experienced auditor • Full UK driving licence • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Experience with UKAS accreditation systems (desirable) • Working towards AFAAM level or higher (desirable)
