• Efficiently qualify and execute leads forwarded by retailers • Assess each supplier’s current technical environment and recommend the best solution for their needs • Advise the supplier community and support our retail partners by clearly communicating value propositions, reasons, timelines, and requirements • Drive maximum acceptance of merchant agreements by retail customers as part of coordinated, time-sensitive campaigns • Proactively reach out to prospective and existing customers using a consultative sales approach • Handle objections or obstacles from suppliers skillfully and relay feedback to the retailer when necessary • Collaborate with internal account teams to maximize future upsell and cross-sell opportunities • Quickly adopt and apply new strategies and initiatives from the community program • Accurately document all activities, including key insights, progress, learnings, and pipeline velocity in Salesforce.com • Provide timely and regular feedback on program quality • Close out all customer contacts (calls and emails) within expected timeframes
• Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of post-secondary education and 2 years of relevant experience in a sales role (e.g., field sales, inside sales, retail, telemarketing) • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and strong customer handling abilities • Fluent in English and German • Process-oriented with great attention to detail and care • Demonstrated behaviors reflecting integrity, curiosity, commitment, initiative, collaboration, relationship building, customer retention/service, and leadership expectations • Preferred: Minimum 1 year of sales experience (field, inside, retail, telemarketing) • Good knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Dutch or French • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.com
