📋 Description

• Set direction across Product and Design in close partnership with the CEO • Shape priorities across the wider Product, Design and Engineering organisation • Translate AI advances, customer insight and commercial opportunity into focused product strategy • Influence major company bets and expand the product into global markets • Communicate product strategy to enterprise customers, partners, investors and the board • Lead and develop the Product and Design organisation across five existing crews • Establish organisational design, budgets and headcount planning across Product and Design • Build AI-augmented ways of working across strategy, discovery, research, prototyping, design, specification and decision-making • Partner with Engineering on roadmap prioritisation, delivery trade-offs and strategic alignment • Use professional brand and thought leadership to attract product and AI talent • Define and champion long-term product vision across international markets, including the United States • Represent the company in fundraising, board engagement, partnership discussions, investor conversations, industry events, press and analyst interactions • Own boundary functions such as Solutions Architecture and integrate them with Engineering and go-to-market teams • Support fundraising and rapid growth, including doubling team size over the next 6–12 months • Lead scaling decisions involving hiring, restructuring, specialisation and strategic risk management

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading Product and Design organisations across multiple teams and disciplines • Experience directly managing and elevating high-performing individual contributors while remaining hands-on • Proven senior-level partnership with Engineering, including influencing technical direction and cross-functional alignment • Proven experience building or transforming a product function to operate in an AI-native way • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools for prototyping, research synthesis, writing, analysis and delivery acceleration • Sophisticated understanding of AI applications in B2B products and competitive strategy • Proven ability to manage, coach and develop Product and Design team members up to and including a Head of Design • Willingness and ability to work hands-on in discovery, strategy and critical delivery work • Experience helping a high-growth startup transition from early-stage to scaled operations through funding rounds • Proven international product strategy experience, especially building for or expanding into the United States enterprise market • Board- and investor-level executive presence, including fundraising narratives, due diligence or strategic partnerships • Experience owning functions beyond Product and Design, such as Solutions Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales or Implementation • Deep experience building and scaling enterprise B2B SaaS products • Ability to balance long-term product vision with focused, commercially grounded near-term execution • Experience engaging executive enterprise customers in product co-creation and long-term relationships • Experience in HR technology, talent assessment or adjacent people-tech markets (nice-to-have) • Experience serving enterprise and mid-market segments simultaneously (nice-to-have) • Experience establishing or scaling a United States product presence and managing distributed teams (nice-to-have) • Experience working directly with founders (nice-to-have) • Background as or alongside a Chief Product Officer or VP of Product (nice-to-have)
