📋 Description

• Meet with and support a caseload of jobseekers in the community, identify barriers, and create tailored action plans to progress them into employment • Deliver personalised one-to-one guidance, including CV writing, interview preparation, and skills development • Meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs • Collaborate with participants to build confidence and support them to find and sustain work • Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities • Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders for health, housing, financial, and other barriers • Promote the Connect to Work programme in the community and generate referrals • Attend local community events to raise awareness of the programme • Provide inclusive support and advice to people from all backgrounds

🎯 Requirements

• Coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills through previous work or social activities • Experience in a customer-facing environment, such as customer services, hospitality, social care, or sales • Experience in a fast-paced, performance-target-driven environment • Willingness to travel locally to meet customers and employers • Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle • Minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma • GCSE English Language at minimum Grade B, equivalent Level 2 qualification, Level 2 Literacy Assessment at interview, or international equivalent • Fluency in more than one language is desirable • Community engagement experience is desirable
