📋 Description

• Define and implement the vision for a high-performing Product Design and UX Research team • Drive a user-first mindset aligned with business goals • Provide guidance and mentorship to designers and researchers • Lead and manage UX designers, researchers, and creative technologists • Manage team resources, project priorities, and budgets • Establish feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement practices • Oversee user research programs and translate insights into actionable design strategies • Champion data-driven design with product and engineering teams • Act as liaison between UX and leadership • Partner with cross-functional leaders to define product visions, influence strategies, and set design quality standards • Align team goals with company objectives across Product, Engineering, and Marketing • Guide delivery of user-centered, accessible, and intuitive interfaces • Oversee concept development from ideation through execution • Advocate for a rigorous design process balancing user insights, technical capabilities, and business goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field • 10+ years of design experience • 7+ years in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary UX teams • Proven track record leading UX teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably within consumer or software technology • Experience managing design and research projects from concept to launch • Experience balancing competing priorities and managing project risks • Experience building influential relationships at all organizational levels • Experience presenting to senior leaders and advocating for UX • Expertise in design methodologies, user-centered design principles, and usability best practices • Strong presentation and communication skills • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Tableau • Strategic thinking, visionary leadership, operational expertise, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to pivot as business needs evolve
