• Test kids' games across iOS, Android, Amazon devices, Amazon Kids+, and HTML5/web platforms • Test the web-based account management portal • Write, maintain, and continually extend comprehensive test plans, test matrices, and test scripts across platforms • Execute structured manual and functional test passes • Write detailed bug reports linked to relevant test plan cases, including reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, logs, screenshots, and videos • Sideload development builds onto physical test devices • Extract crash and device logs using Xcode, ADB/Android Logcat, or Charles Proxy • Audit builds against Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, and Amazon Kids+ submission guidelines • Integrate child privacy compliance requirements such as COPPA into active test plans • Run, monitor, and assist with automated test scripts • Partner with developers, designers, and producers in an agile, remote environment • Support rapid release cycles with builds approximately every two weeks • Provide an available device-lab overview, a multi-platform test-plan approach, a redacted bug-report sample, and day/hourly rate and weekly availability when applying
• 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience covering mobile apps/games (iOS & Android) and web applications • Proven experience designing, extending, and updating structured test plans, test suites, and test cases from functional specifications or evolving product builds • Hands-on experience testing on Amazon Appstore, Amazon Kids+, and HTML5 games, alongside standard iOS and Android environments • Solid understanding of app store submission criteria, design guidelines, and children's digital privacy standards (COPPA / GDPR-K) • Proficient with bug tracking and test management software such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Linear • Skilled in build provisioning tools such as TestFlight, Google Play Beta, or Firebase App Distribution • Experience with log extraction tools including Xcode, Android Studio / ADB, or console logs • Comfortable running automated test suites such as Appium, Selenium, or Playwright and interpreting execution reports • Ability to spot edge cases, missing test steps, UI/UX inconsistencies, and performance issues • Self-driven, highly organized, and able to work independently while staying connected with a small remote team • Availability for approximately 2–4 days per week, with flexibility according to testing needs • Freelance availability for an initial 3-month period • Preferred: experience with network traffic monitoring/proxy tools such as Charles Proxy or Fiddler • Preferred: background testing web portals involving user accounts, subscription management, or authentication flows • Preferred: basic scripting knowledge to maintain or update existing test scripts
