📋 Description

• Install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware, software, operating systems, and related infrastructure • Maintain and administer enterprise-wide Windows servers, Active Directory, VMware, infrastructure tools, and disaster recovery • Maintain and deploy virtual machines in VMware vSphere hosting environments • Administer Azure-based servers • Meet with system engineers regarding current and prospective systems changes and future needs • Provide level 1 and 2 technical support to internal and external customers • Identify system resources nearing capacity and recommend proactive solutions • Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled after-hours/weekend system deployment and maintenance activities • Create and update process documentation and standards • Coordinate with network engineers, systems analysts, programmers, and software engineers to resolve system or product defects • Perform software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance

🎯 Requirements

• Two-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience and certification • 3+ years of experience in a production-oriented, highly available hosting operations environment • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Prior system troubleshooting experience • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and GPO administration • PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation skills • Experience administering public cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure or AWS • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment • Experience working in cross-functional project teams • Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment • Analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • High self-motivation and attention to detail
