📋 Description

• Serve as the independent Principal Investigator of projects and oversee all aspects of project delivery • Delegate project management tasks to more junior scientific staff • Take scientific responsibility for project completion and provide strategic consultation • Apply in-depth scientific methods, mainly qualitative and also quantitative • Present scientific work in peer-reviewed journals and at professional meetings • Provide scientific leadership and produce high-quality scientific deliverables • Advise on and implement methods and scientific innovation in project plans and design • Develop and deliver scientific studies and results directly to clients • Assist colleagues with study design and implementation • Develop and maintain client relationships • Advise clients on scientific methods and plans • Help clients prepare for and attend regulatory meetings • Bring in proposal leads, write proposals, manage proposal writing, and close sales • Meet annual target utilization rate of 60%, unless otherwise specified • Manage internal timelines, budgets, staff hours, scope creep, legal and contracting issues • Develop and present internal scientific trainings • Conform to SOPs and Evidera/PPD requirements • Support new product development and scientific innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate in a life sciences or social sciences discipline and more than 3 years’ experience in relevant field • Master’s degree in a life sciences or social sciences discipline and more than 5-7 years’ experience in relevant field • An equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience may be considered sufficient • Experience using Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software (CAQDAS), such as Atlas.ti, NVivo, MAXQDA, Dedoose, etc. is required • Experience analyzing patient experience data, such as interviews, surveys, and COA (clinical outcome assessment), is required • Experience managing multiple projects is required • Experience in pharma or consulting companies is preferred • Familiarity working in a clinical research environment is preferred • Deep understanding of qualitative research principles and familiarity with qualitative research in clinical trials • Extensive knowledge of qualitative methods • Advanced understanding of operational and logistical challenges of in-trial research • Well-developed communication and scientific writing skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to independently manage, oversee, and/or lead project-related tasks and effectively delegate tasks • Ability to manage client relationships • Ability to collaborate and efficiently multitask
