📋 Description

• Lead technical strategy formation and assist with planning and implementation for Foundational Services • Design, implement, and maintain robust platform solutions for availability and security • Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless access to systems, applications, and data • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members • Write tools to automate routine and complex tasks • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues • Collaborate with teams to design scalable and supportable service-oriented architecture • Implement planned project work and support operational tickets from internal customers • Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and deployment of fixes • Create architectures, documentation, diagrams, and proof-of-concepts for infrastructure-service integration • Participate in planning sessions, roadmap discussions, and architecture reviews • Provide subject matter expertise for Load Balancing, IPAM, DNS, Hashicorp Vault, and PKI Certificate Management • Identify and address stability, capacity, and performance concerns using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk • Implement automation and IaC solutions • Complete Jira project work using SAFe methodology • Commit infrastructure build, automation, and test code to GitLab • Support PCI and security compliance requirements • Liaise with Networking, Data Center Ops, Security, and other teams • Respond to, recover from, and prevent failures and outages • Participate in on-call and potentially after-hours support

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with most supported technologies, including Netscaler Load Balancing, Hashicorp Vault, DNS, IPAM, PKI certificate management, Egress Proxies, Fastly, and Apigee • Strong understanding of security protocols, compliance standards, and cloud and on-prem datacenter environments • Experience supporting a high-volume 24x7 production environment • Experience with GitLab, CI/CD tooling, monitoring and alerting, and SRE practices • Understanding of PCI compliance and security best practices • Desired experience in software development using Python, Java, or Go • Understanding of software design patterns, code reviews, and Git version control • Experience with Agile methodologies • Experience working as a key contributor in a fully remote team • Extremely knowledgeable on a majority of in-scope services • Ability to work on highly strategic, complex, and high-risk undertakings • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams • Deep concern for security and compliance implications of services and solutions
