• Lead and administer all Engineering and Grounds department operations • Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, construction management, and asset management within budget and company objectives • Create and manage departmental financial plans, including labor, expenses, and allocations • Coordinate Engineering and Grounds activities under the Assistant General Manager • Collaborate with department Directors to meet guest-service goals as a member of the Property Leadership Team • Manage contractors, vendors, contracts, certificates of insurance, and project permitting • Support guest-related maintenance needs • Plan capital projects and maintain a five-year capital plan for the Hotel, Condos, and Employee Housing • Partner with the Project Manager to complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope • Develop and implement facilities maintenance, repair, and construction procedures • Plan and execute operational facility openings and closings • Supervise the Engineering Manager and ensure timely, cost-effective completion of work orders • Review and approve departmental purchase orders and invoices • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, County, and company regulations and policies • Conduct annual refresher training and weekly documented safety meetings • Oversee timekeeping, scheduling, and meal-break compliance • Perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum 7–10 years of supervisory or foreman experience in general building maintenance or trades such as electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license within 90 days of employment and comply with the company vehicle policy • B.S. or advanced degree in a related engineering, facilities engineering, construction management, project management, or building technology discipline is preferred, or seven to ten years of equivalent managerial/supervisory experience • Leadership, management, and team-building skills • Process and change-management capability, including department-demand assessment, SWOT analysis, and evaluation of roles, responsibilities, and business processes • Operational and capital budget preparation and management • Construction management program preparation and oversight • Compliance with current safety and health requirements • Physical stamina to perform heavy labor in extreme outdoor environments • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and engineering software programs • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to follow instructions with follow-up, respect, and integrity • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, reasoning, attention-to-detail, multitasking, prioritization, and verbal-comprehension skills • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, and work in extreme temperatures • Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and seasonal coverage
• Salary of $130,000–$150,000 USD annually • Flexible schedule accommodating evenings, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and seasonal business needs
