📋 Description

• Acquire net new customers and drive new revenue for a specific territory while maintaining high customer satisfaction • Work with customers across all verticals to understand business and technical requirements • Understand Twilio’s communications API platform and design solutions for customer use cases • Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams • Address customer requirements and advise on digital communication strategies • Help customers get started on the Twilio platform • Simplify complex technical and financial details for customers • Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects and deals simultaneously • Develop new processes and help build the team playbook • Occasionally travel for project or team in-person meetings

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales development/business development experience at a technology company or 1+ years of closing experience in another industry • Understanding of, or interest in understanding, the cloud computing and communications business model • Excitement for selling to a technical audience using a solution-oriented sales approach • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to simplify complex technical and financial details • Technical solutions selling experience • Enjoyment of working with real customers, listening to them, and solving problems • High adaptability and comfort trying new things in a rapid-paced environment • Remote hiring eligibility outside CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, and Washington DC
