📋 Description

• Provide administrative support to the Senior Security Manager and Trade Controls Manager in a defence-industry environment • Maintain accurate, confidential records • Coordinate routine processes and prepare documentation • Track actions under the direction of security and trade controls managers • Maintain BPSS, SC and DV application records • Coordinate UKSV and applicant correspondence and follow up outstanding information • Maintain confidential personnel security records and change-of-circumstance logs • Collate documents, arrange meetings and track actions for security audits, investigations and compliance reviews • Maintain asset registers, controlled-cabinet records and documentation for asset receipts, movements, transfers, handovers, disposals and returns • Schedule asset musters, record results and discrepancies, and follow up agreed actions • Coordinate security awareness materials and provide routine administrative cover • Maintain classification records for goods, software, technology and documentation • Collate and track SIEL, OGEL and OIEL licence application documentation • Maintain licence-condition trackers, export registers, international collaboration and technical-data transfer records, and secure filing systems • Log document reviews and export-control queries, referring issues to the Trade Controls Manager • Collate evidence, coordinate meetings and track actions for audits, compliance checks and ECJU or MOD inspections • Coordinate export-control briefing materials, attendance records and administrative follow-up

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in administration or compliance support, ideally in a security-sensitive environment • Accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining records, trackers and controlled documents • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and responsibly • Clear communication and good coordination skills • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and follow up outstanding actions • Awareness of personnel vetting, classified information handling or UK export-control administration (desirable) • Experience supporting a Security Controller or trade controls function, or familiarity with GOVS007, ITAR/EAR or ECJU licensing (desirable) • Interest in developing security or trade controls knowledge • Reliable, discreet and committed to following procedures • Organised and proactive, working to agreed processes with minimal supervision • Collaborative and calm when supporting both functions and managing deadlines • Required to obtain and maintain SC clearance • Required to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard Check (BPSS) as a minimum • Must provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment and/or education history for up to three years • Occasional travel to MOD sites, defence partners, or compliance meetings may be required
