📋 Description

• We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to work in a strategic context of architecture evolution, system integration and technology modernization, focusing on building and evolving APIs and backend services that support critical business journeys. • This person will play an important role in evolving solutions integrated with OneData, supporting the transition from legacy architectures to a more scalable, resilient and event-driven model, ensuring operational stability, performance and continuity for teams. • Responsibilities: • Develop and evolve Java backend APIs and services using Spring Boot, ensuring efficient and structured consumption of consolidated data in OneData. • Design and implement event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub), promoting resilient integration between systems and progressive decoupling of legacy components. • Build adaptation layers such as adapters, facades and BFFs to enable incremental migration of consumers without operational impact. • Structure and optimize critical endpoints for Domiciliary journeys, such as scheduling, feasibility, routing and profitability, ensuring performance and scalability. • Define and implement data access and API exposure patterns, including versioning, pagination, advanced filters, aggregations and caching strategies. • Support transitions between data models and contract versions, ensuring safe coexistence between versions, compatibility and progressive architectural evolution. • Implement robust resilience and performance practices such as circuit breakers, retries, timeouts, fallbacks and rate limiting to ensure stability in critical environments. • Identify and mitigate latency bottlenecks, excessive resource consumption and overload in databases and caches. • Ensure full API observability with structured logs, metrics, distributed tracing and monitoring of errors and latency. • Document API contracts, events and technical decisions to promote clarity, governance and continuity for teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development with Java 21. • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot for building and evolving APIs and microservices. • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging / Pub/Sub mechanisms. • Experience integrating systems, modernizing legacy systems and building adaptation layers. • Knowledge of REST API design best practices, including versioning, pagination, filters, contracts and backward/forward compatibility. • Experience with resilience, scalability and performance practices in distributed environments. • Knowledge of observability, including logging, metrics, tracing and monitoring. • Ability to operate in high-criticality contexts with a technical perspective and focus on operational stability. • Good communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration with different teams.
