📋 Description

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business • Translate financial and operational performance into insights, variance analysis, risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leadership • Partner with commercial, operational, functional, local finance, and group finance teams on strategic initiatives and business performance • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages for decision-making and investment cases • Align local German reporting requirements with group-level expectations within a U.S. publicly listed company environment • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, planning tools, data quality, reporting automation, and performance management routines • Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, external auditors, system implementation partners, and corporate reporting teams

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling, corporate finance, or a related finance function • Experience ideally in an international or matrixed organization • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, variance analysis, and business performance management • Understanding of the relationship between balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statement • Advanced Excel skills • Hands-on experience with ERP, planning, and reporting tools such as Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar • Strong commercial mindset and analytical thinking • Stakeholder management skills and confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making • Fluent English required • Professional qualification such as MBA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is an asset • Experience preparing board materials, earnings support schedules, management review packs, or group reporting deliverables is a bonus • Exposure to finance transformation, planning system implementation, BI dashboards, or reporting automation projects is a bonus • Experience in a high-growth, complex, multinational, or publicly listed company environment is a bonus
